Want to save$10 a month on your YouTube TV subscription? A few clicks might put a few more dollars in your pocket.
Last December, YouTube TV announced a$10 price jump from$73/month to$83/month. This would bring the television subscription service's price to nearly$50 a month more than when it debuted in 2017 at$35/month.
YouTube offered a temporary six-month exemption from that jump if you threatened to cancel your subscription

That six months is up, but YouTube TV is still offering many people a chance to keep their price where it is.
Here's how you can avoid the$10 price increase for another six months, saving$60.
Head to yourYouTube TV account settings and look for Manage"on the right. Tap or click that and you'll see your subscription plan at the top of the page. Most users are reporting that under the plan type, a message offers a$10 discount. When I checked on my own account, I saw the option there.
"Get$10 off your current plan," it explains. "Get Base Plan for$72.99/month for your next six months and then$82.99/month."
If you click through it, you'll see two terms you have to agree to:
Agree to those terms, andyou'll get a confirmation email locking in your new price until December.

If that price seems high, it's mostly in line with the competition. Hulu Plus Live TV is$83/month , but that's with Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+.DirecTV Stream is$87 a month , and FuboTV is$80/month . All of those alternatives offer essentially the same thing as YouTube TV.
